Varkala beach - Varkala beach is one of the best beaches in India . Varkala beach is the best tourist destination in Kerala , South India. People from USA, Europe and Australia are visiting varkala beach yearly. There are several tourist attractions in and around Varala like varkala beach.

Airport: Nearest airport is trivandrum international airport (40 KM ) . From Airport A/c taxi cabs are available and it will cost less than Rs. 1500 ($30) . Cochin International airport is also 150 KM from this beach.
Railway station: Varkala railway station is 2 KM away from varkala beach. Almost all trains have stop at this railway station . Some of the trains dont have stop here. Those trains have stops at Kollam Junction (38 KM ) or trivandrum(thiruvananthapuram)(40 KM).
Bus: Buses are available from 5.30AM to 10 PM. KSRTC Volvo A/c Buses are also available. Those who are coming from Kollam may get down at Kallambalam and local buses are available from kallambalam to varkala beach
